The 57th FITCE Congress was drawn to a close after the Panel Discussion session held on the afternoon of Friday 7th September 2018. Firstly, Millie Banerjee provided some general observations and comments as she reflected on the Congress and the topics that had been discussed and then Professor Andy Valdar, President of FITCE formally drew the Congress to a close and invited delegates to attend the 58th FITCE Congress which will be held at the University of Ghent, Belgium, in September 2019 with a focus on the theme of Smart Cities.

Professor Nigel Linge invited Professor Andy Valdar, President of FITCE, to formally close the 57th FITCE Congress.
